| Ella Has a Mobility Dream to Fulfill |
 Update - Ella will be receiving a wheelchair! Thank you so much for your support of her mobility campaign. We look forward to sharing photos of Ella in her wheelchair soon! Please consider making a donation to help us support other pets in need.Ella is a Rottweiler/greyhound mix that suddenly became paralyzed from the waist down a few months ago. Thus far, she is not responding to treatment, and her only options are a wheelchair or euthanasia. Ella has a very dedicated owner who expresses Ella's bladder three times each day. However, Ella's owner is also a single mother who is struggling to support her young daughter while also paying the remaining medical bills from her mother's recent battle with cancer. Struggling emotionally with the recent loss of her mother and unable to locate a second job to help pay for the cost of Ella's care, the owner has turned to the Handicapped Pets Foundation for assistance in getting a dog wheelchair. All grants from the Handicapped Pets Foundation are based on financial need, and Ella's owner has certainly demonstrated a need for our assistance. She has also shown a remarkable commitment to her canine companion, and we hope that you will be able to assist us in getting Ella a wheelchair so she can be mobile again.
